At least that was the case at the wedding of Pippa Middleton and James Matthews this weekend, where all eyes were on the cute kids in their darling getups.
Unsurprisingly, it was was Britain's Prince William's two little ones, Prince George and the adorable Prince Charlotte, who were on their best behaviour as mum Kate Middleton monitored their every pre-ceremony move.
They looked every inch the royal pair in outfits reported to be by Spanish childrenswear designer Pepa & Co.
The flower girls wore short white dresses with ruffle collars and sleeves that featured a dusky pink bow to match their pomps. They carried little baskets for scattering petals and wore floral crowns on their heads.
There are lots of similar styles to that of the flower girls' dresses on the high street at the moment, with stores like Next, H&M and department stores like Debenhams carrying some great options for little princesses.
Monsoon have some particularly pretty gúnas, with gorgeous details and embellishments for couples looking for something with a bit more colour for their younger bridesmaids.
A pink, purple or blue dress for flower girls and young bridesmaids can be a great option as it means they can ofter get a few wears out of their dress after!
