Well look no further! We've trawled through some of our favourite high street and department stores, independent bridal boutiques and top Irish designers to bring you our edit of the best mother of the bride and/or groom style on the market for 2018.
These days, the mother of the bride is giving everyone a run for their money with super stylish dresses, suits and even jumpsuits in some cases, and there's never been more of a choice out there to find something truly unique.
Trend wise this year, it's all about lace sleeves, pastel and neutral shades, elegant floral prints and a hint of sequins for those looking for something a little more glam for the day.
One of the biggest trends over the last few years for mothers of the brides is to 'complement' the bride's dress by wearing white or an off-white dress, usually with a little lace (in the sleeves, or even all over) however this trend divides opinion. Nevertheless, we've included some gorgeous options in our edit if that's the direction you're going.
If you like the idea of wearing off-white, take heed however - your daughter may not be so into the thought of it herself. The safest way to approach this is to only go for the white or off-white option if it's suggested by the bride, and if it's not, look to the rainbow for inspiration!
In terms of where to shop, lots of new boutiques have popped up across Ireland recently, offering mums plenty of options for fabulous wedding wear - we've included some we think you should try out below!
