The Monaghan bride-to-be, who was up for Best Performance by an Actress in a TV Series at this year's Golden Globes, showcased a beautiful three-stone ring on her ring finger at on the red carpet, confirming that she said 'yes' to boyfriend of two years Tony McGill over the festive period.
“It happened over the break. I’m very happy,” she told People.
The rumour mill was in full swing last week when an Australian journalist Tweeted word of congratulations at the Irish actor, however the post was later deleted.
However Caitriona was happy to confirm her engagement on the red carpet, giving fans a glimpse of her beautiful oval diamond engagement ring flanked by two sapphires.
Caitriona and Tony are quite private about their relationship, however the two were spotted together at the 2017 Oscar Wilde Awards in February 2017.
Caitriona was up for best actress in a TV series at last night's Golden Globes and wore an ankle-length black Chanel gown as part of the Time's Up campaign. She lost out to Elizabeth Moss who took home the award for her part as Offred in the dystopian series The Handmaid's Tale.
