The couple spent their date night watching the Lion King, after which romantic Spencer dropped to one knee and asked the former Fade St. star to be his wife.
According to reports the couple were treated to a behind-the-scenes tour of the theatre which they finished on-stage for the surprise proposal. They were given some time to themselves for Spencer to pop the question.
Soon after the couple issued a press release, the bride to be took to Instagram to give fans a glimpse of her new rock.
And it's no wonder she was so quick to share a snap of her sparkler as it's quite a beauty!
"The centre stone looks to be a 4ct centre radiant, with parallel baguette and trillion side diamonds making up a total carat weight of at least 1.25ct" said diamond specialist Seamus Fahy, of engagement ring specialists Voltaire Diamonds in Dublin.
The cost of the ring, he said, would be "close to - if not over - €200,000."
DJ Vogue, who was previously married to former Westlife star Brian McFadden, showcased the stunning ring in an Instagram post last night, which she captioned with two love hearts and a diamond ring emoji, tagging her husband-to-be.
Spencer later posted the same photo on Instagram with the caption: “SHE SAID YES,” and a heart emoji.
“We’re very happy and in love. She’s my best friend and I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with her,” Spencer said.
“The engagement had to be special and, as our first trip away together was to Disneyland Paris, it felt like the perfect fit. The Lion King is also one of the greatest stories of all time, so I figured that having just had a romantic evening watching it, she’d probably say yes,” Matthews said in a statement.
As yet, the couple have not commented on a date for the big day.
