See the beautiful new collection of bridal belts and headpieces by Irish designer Chupi

Chupi's new collection of pretty belts and headpieces join her range of unique, alternative engagement rings

If you're one of the many fans of Irish designer Chupi's heavenly rings and alternative jewellery - or simply just appreciate beautiful design - this one's for you.

Chupi, whose collection of alternative engagement rings has been making waves in the Irish wedding industry since its launch in 2016, celebrates five years of jewellery design this year with the launch of a brand new collection of headpieces and belts that are ideal for the stylish bride.

“I’ve been so lucky over the last few years to get to make so many beautiful engagement rings for some incredible Chupi brides," says designer Chupi Sweetman.

"I wanted to celebrate with a collection of crowns and headpieces that will work for a modern bride, the kind of women who will wear a veil but who wants something sparkly for her hair when she’s dancing the night away."

The new collection is inspired by Chupi's own wedding, and her struggle to find the beautiful accessories for the big day that she could also wear over and over again after.

"I remember only too well how when I got married a few years ago it was impossible to find a beautiful headpiece that wasn’t just white and lacy, I wanted something I could wear again, a piece that would become an heirloom that I would one day pass on. I ended up fashioning a headpiece from a basic gold headband, a pair of our raspberry leaf earrings and some wild flowers!"

She's eager to point out that the collection isn't just for brides and for the wedding day however, and that they could just as easily become a wardrobe staple for those with a penchant for gorgeous gold or stunning silver pieces that add a hint of personality to any outfit.

"These are pieces that can be worn by everyone from brides to bridesmaids, those attending weddings and anything in between!"

The new collection goes on sale from next week, however a special pre-sale is being held this week to celebrate the launch, and you can sign up at to be one of the first to get your hands on a piece.

Prices start from €199 for headpieces, and €439 for belts.
