The bride-to-be is getting her dream dress custom-made by Lady Gaga and Beyonce's favourite Irish designer, Sorcha O'Raghallaigh.
Gaga wore one of O'Raghallaigh's crystal-embroidered gowns when she appeared on the Graham Norton Show in 2011, and Beyonce writhed about in one of the designer's safety-pin tops in music video Mine.
Now Scanlon has enlisted the top designer to help her create an "ethereal wedding dress".
"It's going to be intricate and embroidered," the Ratoath native said.
O'Raghallaigh sketched several dresses for Scanlon before the pair settled on the perfect one.
"It's being made and I have yet to try it on, which is a bit scary as I'm getting married in three months' time," she said.
Scanlon and her fiance Roy will tie the knot in Wicklow surrounded by friends and family.
But before those wedding bells start ringing, she is busy working on a new four-part series for RTE, Angela Scanlon's Naked Truth.
She was talking at the launch of Three's 'Ireland in Three Little Words' campaign which encourages people to share what Ireland means to them.
