The County Down television starlet is engaged to long-term boyfriend, football star Frank Lampard, and the couple are expected to walk down the aisle before the end of the year.
The 35-year-old, who is a regular visitor to these shores, has had her eye on low-key wedding locations in the Emerald Isle as speculation mounts that the nuptials will take place on this side of the water.
“Wedding plans are going good,” she told The Herald.
And the petite brunette answered “maybe” when asked if the couple would be celebrating their wedding with an Irish bash.
“I really love it here,” she explained.
“But I will be keeping the date to myself,” added the host.
The TV star is based in London with her ex-Chelsea footballer boyfriend and is very much part of the future plans for UK broadcaster ITV, according to her spokesperson, despite her most recent show being axed by the station.
The slim presenter also revealed that she and Frank have enjoyed romantic trips to Dublin.
“I have been to Dublin a good bit, I was here about three months ago for a weekend,” she said
“We always have a good time here.”
Christine has been dating footballer Frank since 2009 and while he is expected to confirm his move to New York City football club in the next week, ITV are said to be developing a new show format for the presenter.
After notching up some screen time as a football analyst, Frank said he would love to share the screen with his glamorous other half, who he called his “best friend” in a recent interview.
Asked about some sort of collaboration with Christine, he said: “I don’t think I’d ever be sitting on the sofa with her, Richard and Judy-style, but if I was able to do something sporty with TV, then maybe.”
He said of their relationship: “She’s made me content. That sounds soppy, but I’ve been very happy since I’ve been with her. Our personalities are very similar.”
