Today will see him tie the knot with his long-term girlfriend Sheena O Buachalla.
The happy couple, who have been dating for over five years, will be swapping vows at a church in Dublin 2 this afternoon ahead of their lavish bash in an exclusive city centre venue for more than 180 guests.
The guest list will read like a Who's Who of Irish rugby as Jamie and Sheena (30) make it a day to remember.
They're expected to be joined by many of Jamie's Ireland and Leinster team-mates, both past and present, including Brian O'Driscoll with Amy Huberman, Johnny Sexton and wife Laura, as well as Gordon D'Arcy and wife Aoife.
Other guests at the VIP bash will include Cian Healy with partner Laura Smith; Luke Fitzgerald with new girlfriend Aisling Burke and brothers Dave and Rob Kearney, with Rob's other half Jess Redden.
Heaslip's business partner Sean O'Brien is also on the list, given that he co-owns D4 bar The Bridge with the Kearney brothers.
O'Brien, known as the Tullow Tank, is expected to be accompanied by his girlfriend Georgia McGurk, while Fergus McFadden will be there with new fiancee Rebecca Sinnamon.
Heaslip proposed to Leinster marketing executive Sheena last December, but they managed to keep the news under wraps for a while.
It's a policy that the rugby player extends to all areas of his life, declining to ever divulge too much about his relationship.
"I am fine about my rugby stuff being talked about, but I like to keep my private life exactly that - private," he said.
"Mainly because the people in it didn't ask to be in the public eye. Family and friends and all that I keep separate."
He praised the fact that former model Sheena, a native of Ballsbridge, has "never got caught up in that scene", even though she loves the sport.
STUDYING Stunning Sheena used to model with First Options agency while she was studying Business and Economics at Trinity College, before landing a job in marketing in Spin 1038.
The couple are not expected to take any extended honeymoon to mark their wedding, given that pre-season rugby training will start shortly.
Wedding bells are certainly in the air for the rugby set recently, given that former Leinster player Eoin O'Malley tied the knot to other half Lara Nolan in Portugal two weeks ago.
Ireland's Devin Toner also tied the knot to partner Mary Scott at a bash in Meath last month.
