The 29-year-old reality star is currently going through a divorce with estranged husband Lamar Odom.
But she apparently isn’t allowing herself to be bitter about the failure of her first marriage.
“She’s young and resilient and can bounce back from this,” a source told Hollywood Life. “She’s learned how to be patient, understanding and above all, extremely loving. She wants to love a man again, the same way she loved Lamar.”
Although the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star is open to giving love another chance, she is said to be taking her time and not rushing into anything. Khloé has allegedly accepted that her relationship with Lamar is over, but she is still healing from the breakdown of the four-year marriage.
“She’s going to take her time though because she hasn’t yet healed,” the source said, adding that the star is still confused as to Lamar’s seemingly erratic behaviour towards the end of their union.
“Lamar was MIA for weeks at a time. She wishes that she would have known better or that there was some sort of sign so that she was better prepared for that type of behaviour,” said the source.
Although her love life may not be ideal at the moment, Khloé might soon have a career change. Cheryl Cole, who recently confirmed she was returning as a judge to the X Factor UK, reportedly wants Khloé to join her on the show. The Kardashian sister has already presented on the US version of The X Factor for one season and Cheryl apparently thinks she could be a big success in the UK.
"Cheryl knows she has Simon wrapped around her little finger and has told him to give Khloé another chance - she think she'd be really witty and funny and is really popular in the UK. She says having a good friend on the panel she can laugh with would be good for the show," an insider told British magazine Heat.
