Although the couple of four years married in a civil ceremony on May 8, they travelled to Ibiza to enjoy a sun-kissed blessing.
The wedding of the year may have taken place in Florence this week with the nuptials of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, but it is clear the Dublin couple had a lovely day.
Leigh (34) tweeted “Happiness #thankyou x”; captioning one of the three wedding day snaps.
Leigh, who is best-known for playing Dr Clodagh Delaney in medical drama The Clinic, wore a stunning cream strapless gown designed by Helen Cody.
The floaty material feathered downwards from the waist creating an ethereal effect.
This was complemented by a floor-length veil with lace trim. The actress wore her hair in a sophisticated braided up-do.
Overall, the look was demure and understated perfect for their relaxed beach-side location.
Steve looked dapper in a pale blue tux and open collared white shirt.
“We did it!! Thank you Helen Cody for my dress and Nicky Wallace for my handsome groom! Xxx” she wrote on Twitter, along with a picture of her and her husband.
The pair invited a handful of close family and friends to celebrate with them in Ibiza, where Leigh’s model sister Chloe lives.
Guest-of-honour was their two-year-old son, Hunter. Following the excitement of their wedding day, the newly-weds enjoyed some family time with Hunter on the beach.
She captioned the snap “The day after. It’s too much Mummy!!! Xxxxxxx”
The special ceremony comes after a traumatic time for Leigh and Steve, who lost their second son, Flynn, to cot death just over a year ago, when he was only two weeks old.
Leigh remembered her son ahead of the anniversary of his passing by tweeting: “This time last year you were cuddled in my arms my love. I miss you every second. My Flynn x.”
