Aoibhin Garrihy's vintage diamond
Aoibhin Garrihy got engaged to long term boyfriend John Burke on her 27th birthday in 2015. John proposed with Aoibhin's nana's ring, a round-cut diamond in a prong setting with a gold band.
Pippa O'Connor Ormond's perfect pavé diamond
Pippa O'Connor Ormond and husband Brian were married in 2011. She wears a platinum round cut diamond on a pavé setting. Pippa revealed in 2015 that she had mislaid the ring before a trip to New York, but returned to Ireland to find it in her sock drawer!
Rosanna Davison's chic round diamond
Rosanna Davison engagement ring is a cushion cut diamond in a prong setting and a triple platinum band from Voltaire Diamonds. According to reports the ring is said to be worth around €40K. She wore a high street version of the ring while her real one was being engraved after the couple tied the knot.
Kerrie Harris' dainty cushion-cut diamond
Republic of Ireland player Robbie Brady proposed to long term love Kerrie Harris last year and the bride-to-be recently revealed that she has said yes to a wedding dress ahead of their big day. Kerrie wears a oval diamond on a pavé setting, which she had trouble getting off daughter Hallie when she allowed her to try it on for this Insta pic!
Holly White's stylish round cut sapphire
Holly White got engaged to now-husband Andrew Wynne on a snowy evening in Istanbul. Andrew popped the question with a stylish Sapphire by Kilkenny based designer Rudolf Heltzel. Holly's parent's wedding bands are also by Rudolf Heltzel, so it was a sentimental choice to get her and her husband's wedding bands there too.
Sinead Kennedy's beautiful blue tanzanite
RTÉ presenter Sinead Kennedy has one of the more unusual engagement rings we've seen - a beautiful big blue tanzanite on a double pavé band. "I wouldn't be into diamonds - I've no interest and I like a bit of colour," she told the Herald. "I love the colour of my ring. I went for tanzanite. You've got to go big with it too -- go big or go home!"
Storm Keating's elegant oval diamond
Storm Keating wears a pavé band with an oval diamond, which sits perfectly beside her platinum pavé wedding ring. She revealed that on their wedding day, she wore husband Ronan's late mother's engagement ring as she walked up the aisle. "Linda [Ronans's sister] gave me their mam's engagement ring to wear which was an incredibly sweet gesture," she said at the time. "I somehow felt even closer to her wearing that ring and when Ro saw me wearing it at the altar. I know he did too."
Amy Huberman's art deco diamond
Amy wears a beautiful art deco inspired round cut diamond engagement ring which is surrounded by at least 20 smaller stones and set on a plain, classic band. Husband Brian proposed while they were celebrating her 30th birthday.
