The 38-year-old model and presenter, who sparked engagement rumours in recent weeks after being pictured donning a diamond on her ring finger, said that she asked her French partner Jeremy to marry her but he immediately shut her down and told her to be quiet.
'When we were in Antigua and the sun was setting and we were up at Shirley Heights I said to Jeremy, "Will you marry me?" and he said, "Be quiet there are people around!" she told OK! magazine.
'So I tried to propose but he said it was too busy and told me to be quiet! I’ve asked him, but it wasn’t private enough!’
As well as discussing proposals, Kelly also spoke candidly about family planning, and said that after suffering a heartbreaking two miscarriages in 2011, having children was not on 'top of the list' for her.
Referencing a recent interview with Loose Women where she revealed that she wished she had thought about having children 'sooner', she further elaborated: "I just thought when I got pregnant, I’d have a really easy pregnancy and have a baby and everything would be great, and that didn’t work out for me, so you just have to bear in mind that it’s not always going to be as straightforward as you think."
"If I’d known that in my twenties, I may have taken it more seriously and slowed down a bit," she added.
However the actress said that she is happy with her life at the moment and doesn't see herself 'slowing down'.
"If I don’t have children it won’t be the end of the world because I love my life and I’d be giving up a lot to have children, so it’s not top of my list."
