The couple first wed at a registry office in Dublin last month before they flew to Portugal for a romantic ceremony in front of family and friends.Although they were together for seven years before tying the knot, Gail admitted their relationship feels different since they said "I do".
"I suppose we were always a team, we've been together for seven years, but it does feel different," she said. "I do feel closer to him and he feels closer to me. He said it does feel different as well."
And the mum-of-two admitted she's still getting used to wearing her wedding ring."He keeps saying, 'I'm bringing my wife out for drinks'. He loves wearing his ring. I find it weird because I don't wear jewellery. I'm afraid I'll lose it or something," she said.
"He got the ring and it was too big for me, so I got it sized down and then I didn't actually want to take it off."
The wedding might have been in another country, but the couple were very hands-on with the plans for the ceremony. "I work with wedding planners all the time, so I'm very meticulous when it comes to those things. I wanted to make sure everything happened right," she explained.
"I actually didn't really switch on until we were in the church, though, so I wasn't too stressed. It was really romantic. The church was amazing. We didn't do any specific vows or any-thing different. It was just your normal ceremony.
"I was nervous enough in the rehearsal. I hate public speaking."
Gail's daughter, Kiva, was part of the ceremony, with her proud mum gushing over her."So proud of the woman she has become and it was very special to have her by my side on our super special day," she added.
Speaking at the opening of the Beautique Beauty Studio in Fashion City, Tallaght, Gail revealed that the couple are planning their honeymoon for next year.
"We're going to go on our honeymoon in January, but we don't know where yet," she said. "Henry was saying we might go to the Galapagos islands. I don't really know yet, though. We have that to look forward to planning".
It was a quick engagement for the couple, with Henry popping the question only six months before while they were on holiday together in Oman with Gail's son, Jack. Despite their years together, the proposal came as a complete surprise to the model and stylist.
"Last year, a lot of our friends got married, so I think he thought, 'I'd better get on this'," she said.
