The E! host exchanged vows with partner Keven just before midnight on New Year's Eve, as revellers geared up to toast 2018 in style.
Wearing a dreamy, dramatic lace Pronovias ballgown, the bride beamed as she arrived to the 'ceremony' - presided over by co-host Steve Harvey.
Posting to Instagram earlier in the day, the TV favourite announced to fans that they would be tuning in for a particularly special NYE Live from Times Square - she even managed to keep the wedding secret from her parents.
"Finally some good news for mom! We are getting married tonight in Times Square! I will be the coldest bride ever but the happiest! Seeing my parents happy means everything!" she wrote.
The couple hadn't always intended to tie the knot with as big a guest list however, but when Maria's producer mentioned she was looking for a couple to exchange vows on live TV, Maria realised it would be ideal for her.
"She said, ‘Unless you and Keven want to get married.’ And I was like, ‘Ha, ha, no.’ I was nervous but I got in the car and kept thinking about it and I was like, Wait, this really is kind of perfect.”
Keven agreed and the couple were given two weeks to plan the big night.
The couple's parents and friends were kept in the dark until the day, with the surprise element of the wedding making it a lot easier for the bride to plan.
“I’ve always wanted it to be super intimate and even though this is the opposite, we can only invite our immediate family, so the pressure of who to invite is gone. This was just so perfect," she said.
According to People the couple had an intimate reception following their ceremony, and held a morning brunch for friends and family on New Year's Day.
