Over the course of the last month, Chopra and new husband Nick Jonas had two wedding ceremonies, five different parties and, as is appropriate of a Bollywood superstar, the 36-year-old bride wore a new gown for each occasion. The styles varied from ostentatious takes on popular Western gowns, including a dramatic Ralph Lauren lace dress with a 75-foot veil, to traditional Indian attire, but her red custom Dior gown - a never-before-seen look - is emerging as one of her best.
Her stylist Mimi Cuttrell shared a picture of the bride in the tulle dress with a silk bodice, wearing 16 carats of Chopard jewels and her hair tied in a low sleek bun. Cuttrell is the woman behind all of Chopra's jaw-dropping bridal styles, including her feathered strapless Marchesa look for a bridal party at Tiffany & Co in New York.
The couple have shared photos from their celebrations on social media in recent weeks and admitted they were delighted to have been able to feature both their cultures and traditions.
They wrote in identical posts: "One of the most special things that our relationship has given us is a merging of families who love and respect each other's faiths and cultures. And so planning our wedding with an amalgamation of both was so so amazing. An important part for the girl in an Indian wedding is the Mehendi. Once again we made it our own."
They are currently on a mini-moon skiing in Switzerland after stays in Mumbai, Jodhpur New York and London.
