Richard Gere has married his fiancé Alejandra Silva.
The 'Pretty Woman' actor tied the knot for the third time when he and Alejandra Silva - who has son Albert, five, with ex-husband Govind Friedland - wed in a low-key secret civil ceremony earlier this month, Page Six confirmed.
According to Britain's HELLO!, Richard - who was previously married to Cindy Crawford and has son Homer, 18, with second wife Carey Lowell - and Alejandra, 35, are planning to celebrate their nuptials with a family party at their New York home on May 6th.
Spanish magazine Hola! first reported the news that the couple had tied the knot earlier this month, but did not reveal where the nuptials had taken place.
Alejandra previously revealed she and the 68-year-old actor, who is Buddhist, believe karma brought them together.
She said: "Everyone can see there's an age difference and everyone knows what it means to be a Hollywood star, but there is such a big karmic force, the problems disappear."
The couple first met when Alejandra was a "little girl" and the actor borrowed a boat from her businessman father, Ignacio Silva - the former Real Madrid FC VP - and they then reconnected in 2014 in Positasno, Italy, where she was running a luxury hotel.
She recalled: "Richard has known my family for 15 years. He asked to borrow my dad's boat to shoot a commercial he was going to be in when I was just a little girl.
"When I saw him again in Positano, I reminded him of the story.
"Our karma brought us together as soon as we saw each other because we've known each other over the course of many lives - that's how we both feel anyway."
She has also credited the 'Unfaithful' actor for giving her life meaning.
She previously said: "I was a little lost, without light, and knowing him gave meaning to my life. It was feeling that someone was reaching out and showing me my true path."
