This blogger's drool-worthy dessert table was nearly as extravagant as her three couture wedding dresses

'Fashion influencer' throws ultra glam wedding celebration in Capri, Italy and the photos are out of this world

This year has seen some ultra glamorous weddings, from the royal and the royal-adjacent to the world of celebrity and the not-so-famous in between.

But fashion and lifestyle blogger Feiping Chang's big day could be the one to out-lavish them all.

Hong Kong 'It Girl' Chang, who maintains the personal fashion blog xoxoFei, married fiancé and financier Lincoln Li in a stunning destination wedding in Capri, Italy last month, wearing not one but three ultra luxurious wedding gowns that put the 'big' into 'big day'.

However it wasn't just the extravagant fashion that had fans gushing about the stylish bride's nuptials; her sumptuous dessert table, featuring a giant choux pastry ball croquembouche, macarons and cake pops, also had everyone talking, not to mention the couple's giant raspberry topped cheesecake wedding cake which was made live on front of no-doubt drooling guests.

The couple tied the knot in a villa on the spectacular cliff of Villa Lysis. having reportedly been granted permission when they agreed to refurbish the location (which they did by adding a bridge from the villa to the rooftop where they exchanged their vows).

"I've always loved Capri," the bride told Hong Kong Tatler. "It's my happy place. It's a really beautiful and magical spot, and I always knew that one day if I were to get married, I would want to do it there."

The bride walked down the aisle in an extravagant tiered couture Giambattista Valli gown, reportedly the biggest the designer has ever made. However as the voluminous nature of the dress was a worry, the fasionista and her couturier were forced to pare back the dress from its original catwalk conception.

"Volume is a concern," the bride said in an interview prior to the big day, "it’s not going to be as big as it was on the runway but I still want it to be dramatic, and yet I also want to be comfortable. It’s a fine line."

Although she admits she changed a couple of aspects of his designs, the bride says her heart was always set on the designer to create the dress for her special day.

"I’ve always loved Giambattista Valli designs," she said, "I love how romantic yet dramatic his couture gowns are, so when I got engaged, that was my go-to."

The bride finished her Valli gown off with a pair of Sergio Rossi shoes and wore her hair in an elegant low chignon which showcased a pair of sparkling diamond earrings.

For the reception at the beautiful lemon tree-lined Da Paolino restaurant, the bride changed into a striking floaty high-low hemline Harris Chan dress, which featured hand drawn lemon print fabric with the couple's names entwined in lemon flowers. She wore a third dress which was similar in style to her ceremony gown later in the evening.

Fei, as she's known to fans, refers to herself as a fashion influencer ,"not blogger or stylist as misreported in the press."
