Watch: Pop star Pixie Lott crashes wedding and performs King of Leon's Use Somebody

Singer dropped in on newlyweds and surprised guests

We've seen a wave of celebrity wedding crashing in recent months.

But while some simply show up and leave only a few snaps with the bride and groom as their entrance fee, it seems pop star Pixie Lott is a little more au fait with wedding etiquette - performing a song live for the visibly surprised guests.

The star turned up at the wedding of Ben Haslam, 34, and new wife Rachel, 30, and performed an acoustic version of Use Somebody, before heading off to headline at another special gig at the Manchester Town Hall.

“My jaw dropped to the floor when Pixie walked in," the bride told The Sun.

“She sang then came over to say congratulations and we took pictures."

The stage star, 26, was reportedly on her way to turn on the Christmas lights at Manchester Town Hall when she was spotted by a wedding guest.

The guest Tweeted the singer asking her to drop by, which she did - and performed her version of Kings of Leon's Use Somebody.

“It made a memorable day even more memorable. You don’t expect a pop star to sing at your wedding,” said the bride.

When it comes to her own wedding however, the star has admitted she is a little further from walking down the aisle herself.

Recently she revealed that she has not made any solid wedding plans for her and fiancé, model Oliver Cheshire's big day, as both has been so busy with their careers.

One thing is for sure, she looked very at home performing on front of guests at Ben and Rachel's big day.

Perhaps she's practising for her own?!
