From Kate Middleton's headline-grabbing olive green gown standing out among the sea of #timesup black at the BAFTAs, to the Queen of England injecting herself into the FROW (beside a fully sunglassed Anna Wintour no less) at London Fashion Week, the British royals are making a serious statement when it comes to all things apparel.
They've been so busy with the day-to-day fashion frolics in fact, that we nearly (nearly!) managed to do one full circle around the sun without anyone speculating on what the most important non-member of the royal family would be wearing in 90 days time...
However while everyone has been looking to stylists, royal correspondents, weather forecasters and their little sisters for any ideas on who is designing the dress that's set to launch a thousand bridal trends, they've forgotten the one unlikely person who could finally reveal all - their local bookies.
Two British bookies have reportedly suspended bets on one particular designer, leading everyone to believe that the jig is up.
That designer? None other than Kate Middleton's wedding dress designer Alexander McQueen.
British betting office Betfair said in a statement that it is suspending all bets on Meghan's wedding dress designer, after a surge in interest in McQueen, they said, indicated a confidential leak.
"We previously had Ralph and Russo as the 2/1 [favorites] and there’s also been a lot of talk of Erdem as a big front-runner," the statement from Betfair read. "However, we’ve now suspended this market after seeing some interesting betting on Alexander McQueen this morning who went from 16/1 to 8/1 in a very short space of time."
Elsewhere, Meghan's BBFF (British BFF) Millie MacIntosh has been spotted carrying an unmarked dress bag to a private London luxury dress makers, sparking reports that it could be a wedding - or bridesmaid gown - being brought in for a fitting.
The Made in Chelsea star was also carrying a Jimmy Choo bag, a designer noted to be a favourite of the royal bride-to-be.
