'Chances are we're not going to get the invitations' - Meghan Markle's nephew and his mother resign themselves to being off the guestlist for royal wedding

They haven't seen the bride-to-be in twenty years

The 600 wedding invites have been sent and over the last few hours some of those who were holding out hope of being a guest at one of the most talked-about weddings of the decade, are slowly but surely coming to terms with being snubbed.

Two people currently in that position include Tyler, the nephew of bride-to-be Meghan Markle, and his mother, Meghan's step-brother's ex-wife Tracy.

Speaking from Oregon, the as yet uninvited pair assured Good Morning Britain viewers that they were 'okay' with not having received an invite to the royal wedding in May, but said that they haven't lost hope yet.

"You haven't ruled it out?" presenter Susanna Reid asked the pair incredulously when they revealed that they had not received their own gilded invitations.

"Not entirely but at this point it all comes back to Meghan," Tyler answered, "ultimately it's her day it's her happiness and again we've been here from the very beginning her whole life we've been rooting her on and supporting her."

"Chances are that I don't think we're going to get the invitations but that's fine, we're okay with that," his mother then assured. "We're supporting her and having a good time and so proud of her."

Co-presenter Richard Madeley however didn't give the twosome an easy ride, asking when exactly they had last seen the bride-to-be.

"I talked to her probably about three years ago," said Tyler, while mom Tracy said she hadn't seen her former husband's sister in about 20 years.

She did however, say that she has heard Meghan's father Thomas Sr. would be there to give her away on the day.

"I believe... I've heard that he's going to be over there, and I'm sure he's going to be giving her away" Tracy told Richard.

"I don't think that he's waiting for his invitation and I'm sure they already had plans in place."

"For me talking to him he's very excited to be a part of it."
