Which is why Harry and Meghan's royal wedding thank you cards have begun arriving through the postboxes of well wishers who 'took the trouble to write' to them ahead of the big day - and they're as elegant and modern as you'd imagine!
The couple opted to use one of their beautiful black and white portrait photos from the big day as the cover for their pretty notes.
The card thanks fans for their kind thoughts and words ahead of the wedding, and sends best wishes from the royal couple, who were 'overwhelmed' by support around the time of their nuptials.
"The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have been overwhelmed by all the incredibly kind cards and letters they have received on the occasion of their Wedding," the card says, "and are so touched that you took the trouble to write as you did."
The featured candid snap, shot by photographer Alexi Lubomirski, took only moments to capture according to the photographer, as Meghan 'slumped' onto her new husband and the two laughed about how exhausted they were.
"It was just one of those magical moments, when you're a photographer and everything falls into place," Lubomirski explained.
"The sun is setting right just over the top of Windsor Castle just behind them, it was just the most serene, beautiful light, they're in love, walking around this beautiful garden.
"I said just before you go in, let's sit down on these stairs, and she just slumped in between his legs.
"They were just laughing because they were joking about how they were exhausted and finally it was over."
The couple are keen on sending correspondence to well-wishers, and this is the second they've sent out since their engagement - the first sent from the palace on behalf of the couple, thanking well-wishers for taking the time to express their congratulations ahead of their wedding.
