Whitney Port wed long-term love Tim Rossenman in a low-key California ceremony and while she kept numbers to a minimum, she did invite Us Weekly to cover the occasion.
Taking a page out of her The City co-star Olivia Palermo's 'wedding shorts', Port shunned a traditional gown in favour of something edgier.
Her waterfall hemline dress with embellishment was designed by Ashi Studio, based in Beirut, who said she was inspired by a chandelier when it came to sketching her dress.
"At the start, Whitney saw a dress from the latest couture collection and she got inspired for an idea for her wedding dress,' Mohammad Ashi told the magazine.
"It was inspired by a vintage chandelier from Venice and Florence."
She did conform to some traditions though as her "something borrowed" was covered by a pair of pearl and diamond earrings which previously belonged to her new husband's mother.
"Thank you to everyone who has supported and commented so sweetly on my page and accounts. Timmy and I have finally taken the plunge and we couldn't be happier!!! I'm so excited to finally share pics from our wedding that we have worked so hard on! It was a mission of love, that's for sure," she wrote on her website, alongside a picture of the sensational dress.
Whitney and Tim met on the set of The City, where he was a producer, and he popped the question in 2013.
The reality star turned fashion designer said they "always knew" they'd marry.
"It's such a great feeling," she told Us. "We finally get to stop saying fiancé and be husband and wife
"We really always knew we would end up together and now we can start a new amazing chapter in our lives.
"The wedding was everything we hoped it would be and will cherish the memories for the rest of our lives."
None of her castmates from The Hills or The City were in attendance.
