Sarah and Shane Maddison tied the knot in the Royal Albert Hall, in a wedding that was beamed out to This Morning viewers and left presenter Holly Willoughby teary eyed.
The wedding had its own hashtag, of course, with viewers following #TMwedding on their second screen as they saw bride Sarah walk up the aisle serenaded by Royal wedding musicians The Kingdom Choir.
Sarah only found out about the choir moments before she walked down the aisle and said that she had remarked during Harry and Meghan's wedding that the music was amazing. She had to fight back tears when she heard they would be singing at her own ceremony and she was particularly moved when she was told by Holly that they would be singing her favourite song, John Legend's beautiful All of Me.
The spectacular Albert Hall was decorated with hundreds of fresh floral pew ends, as the pair exchanged vows under an instillation of hanging foliage. Before the ceremony Philip Schofield remarked to nervous groom Shane that although the venue is huge, it felt intimate.
Sarah was given away by her proud father and the happy couple exchanged vows in the presence of all their friends and family.
The special programme comes just over a week before ITV is expected to broadcast the wedding of British Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank, dubbed #royalwedding2, after BBC reportedly turned down the honours.
The royal couple will tie the knot next Friday, 12th October in St George's Church.
