A bride said her wedding was ruined after filming an episode of Say Yes To The Dress - which was aired six weeks before her wedding. The cult wedding show, which sees brides (and their wonderfully catty group of fashion police) sharing their experience of wedding dress shopping with a camera crew at New York bridal store Kleinfeld's.
But Alexandra Godino (27) tried to sue TLC in a bid to prevent them from airing her episode before she walks up the aisle and ruin the surprise for her fiancé, family, friends and two million other people around the world.
According to the New York Post, she didn't go in with the attention of participating in the show, but was approached by the production crew while shopping with her mother and fiancé - Canadian hockey player Jeff May - and fill in for a last minute cancellation.
After unsuccessfully asking the network to pull the show until a later date, she took legal action. A judge denied her request.
It's easy to see why producers were keen to show her segment as soon as possible - the Zuhair Murad gown cost a whopping $40,000 and her May wedding will involve 300 of her closest friends, a16-piece orchestra and of course, a choreographed first dance.
