This is what it's like having Victoria's Secret models as bridesmaids

Getting your bridesmaids to agree on dresses for a wedding can be tough for any bride.

But for Brazilian supermodel, Ana Beatriz Barros, it was especially tough as her fashion-conscious party had clear ideas of what worked for them and what didn't.

The 34-year-old Sports Illustrated star and former Victoria's Secret model married businessman Karim El Chiaty on the Greek island of Mykonos last July.

But the model, who's walked the runway for the likes of Christian Dior, Gucci, Versace, Chanel and Prada, said it was a nightmare trying to get her bridesmaids to agree on a theme for dresses.

"Oh, they [the dresses] were a bit of a nightmare," she told Hello! Fashion Monthly.

"They all wanted something different to wear; one would say, 'I don't look good in pink' then another would say, 'I don't like the style of this or that'."

Ana had 10 bridesmaids for her big day, including fellow catwalk stars Alessandra Ambrosio, Fernanda Motta and Isabeli Fontana.

"Can you imagine, all these models, they're so aware of what works on them and what doesn't so they had all these opinions. And, of course, in the end they all looked amazing, and they would have looked amazing in anything," she said.

The Brazilian bride eventually settled on a colour theme of pinks and peach, with different designs for each of her bridesmaids.

Ana walked down the aisle wearing custom-made Valentino and swapped into three other dresses for the ceremony.

Speaking of her big day she gushed: "It was simply the best moment of my life. You stand there and thin 'Is this really all for me? Do I deserve all this? It was just magical."

But Anna wasn't the only one who thought her day was dreamy.

"Even my dad was saying on the day, "Oh my goodness, I have never seen so many beautiful women in my life'. And afterwards the whole of Mykonos was asking my father-in-law to thank me for bringing all these women to the island," she joked.
